This Agreement is made between LB Ranch (Stable) and _______________________ (Owner), owner of the horse described herein.

Fee-In consideration of $250.00 per month paid by Owner (due in advance) on arrival, LB Ranch agrees to board said horse beginning _____________________, 2010 on a month-to-month basis renewable on monthly basis. Included in the fee above is hay, grain,stall cleaning, daily turn-out time as requested, in nightly or in for bad weather.

Right of Lien:-In event of abandonment or default of payment balance for board, LB Ranch has the right of lien as set forth in the law of the Province of New Brunswick for the amount due for any unpaid board and training and shall have the right, without process of law, to retain said horse until the indebtedness is satisfactorily paid in full or to sell said horse to recoup board owning and costs involved in attempting to recover the debt owed.

Standard of Care
LB Ranch agrees to provide normal and reasonable care to maintain the health and well-being of said horse. Care and services NOT included in the fee are: Farrier or veterinarian services, de-worming, supplements, vaccinations, fly-repellant.

Emergency Care
If emergency treatment is needed, Trainer will attempt to contact Owner but, in the event Owner is not reached, Trainer has the authority to secure emergency veterinary and/or farrier care. Owner is responsible to pay all costs relating to this care. Trainer is authorized as Owner's agent to arrange billing to Owner.

Risk of Loss
While the horse is boarded at LB Ranch we do our utmost to provide quality standard of care and safety but in the event of unforseen incidents, LB Ranch and agents shall not be liable for any injury, sickness, death or theft suffered by the horse its owner or others the owner brings on the premisis or any other cause of action arising from or connecting to the boarding of the horse. Owner fully understands that LB Ranch does not carry any insurance for any horses not owned by LB Ranch for boarding or for any other purposes,  all risks are assumed by Owner. Owner agrees to hold LB Ranch harmless from any loss, death or injury to said horse. All costs, no matter how catastrophic, connected with boarding, or for any other reason for which the horse in on the premises of Trainer, are to be borne by Owner. NBEA or equivelant coverage is encouraged and recommended by all boarders. Owners ride at their own risk. Helmets are mandatory and proper footwear must be worn at all times.

Hold Harmless
Owner agrees to hold LB Ranch harmless from any claim resulting from damage or injury caused by said horse and agrees to pay legal fees incurred by LB Ranch in defense of a claim resulting from damage by said horse. LB Ranch also assumes all personal risk in association with handling boarded horses.   

Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement given fifteen (15) days notice to the other, no refunds are given.
